Good Day, every one!
That is not my picture; it is the cover foto of a book wrote by a Dalit intellectual called, Narendra Jadav, “Untouchables: My Family’s Triumphant Journey Out of the Caste System in Modern India”.
“A dramatic piece of writing that forces us to acknowledge the inhumanity and injustice of a social order that treats humans worse than animals.” commented The Tribune. You can buy it from Amazon
One of the best way to bring more traffic to your blog is to place a picture of a sexy girl in your profile. That will bring you more clicks, not kidding. Well, I may do it later when I get a break. I love sex and Kama sutra as like many Indians.
The title image of this blog shows nude sadhus parading en mass during a Hindu festival called Kumbh Mela in India. If you are curious about sadhus, please watch

This blog is more about the Mass migration of Indians around the globe. Every year more than 1 million Indians are moving out of India. They are compelled to migrate due to economical, social or political reasons. “Escape from India” is a dream of many and it is a 2,500 year old saga to Indians.
Recently, a national report on the employment situation in India has warned that nearly 30 percent of the country’s 716 million-strong workforce will be without jobs by 2020. Government of India doesn’t have the resources or political will to find jobs for such a large population. It means the mass migration will continue and Indians have to find out more spaces in this globe.
This blog will bring more authentic data on this context and more facts on India.
Main stream media is an enchanted version of ‘India Boom’, which is beyond the criteria of a social scientist. If any one of you believe in such dramatic ’super power of India’, I would ask you to get out of your shell and have a visit to the villages. And please find some time to talk to those down trodden people. This 85 % of Indian population are not touched by the ‘ECONOMIC BOOM’. Or watch Danny Boyle’s latest film – Slumdog Millionaire
A country’s identity rests not in its stock market figures, billionaire clubs and their luxury cars, feudal lords, or technological advances but rather in the faces of its people. Look into the face of a small Indian child resting half-naked on his mother’s hip while she begs tourists for money! And I am sure that India’s mainstream media will not report their stories because these 900 million people don’t have purchasing power in the emerging market. In fact, Indian media is in the hands of certain classes of upper caste Hindus. They get orgasm when Indian stock markets graphs are up.
11 Indian billionaires live in Mumbai, the business city of India. But 54% of the population in this city live in very congested houses, slums, cement pipes and on foot paths. Difference between rich and poor is increasing in India. India’s 42.6 million city dwellers add up to one-tenth of the world’s urban population.
I respect and love people beyond borders for their quality of thinking.
Unfortunately, I don’t believe in fake patriotism promoted by Hindutva fascists throughout the web. Majority of Indian bloggers are caste conscious and it badly limit one’s creativity in understanding other culture. In fact, many of these commentators are computer coolies working for PR firms run by hindutva empire. They are engaged in media manipulation techniques by commenting on news, articles and blogs to implement their political agenda which is of hate, communalism and globalization. If you closely look at their commenting pattern you will know what I mean.
India is having only 32.6 million Internet users with 2.9 % of internet penetration while China has 176.5 million users with a penetration rate of 13.4 %. E-Marketer study 2007
You will see I oppose Brahminism and Caste system, because I consider it as the root of the most of the evils prevails in India.
My war is limited on Ideas, I never went on a physical fight with anyone.
I will be in solidarity with the down trodden classes of India including Dalits, back ward classes, aborigines, tribal and minorities.
My fraternity is extended to non resident Indians, who own a single passport, which is of Republic of India.
Dual citizen ship did n’t brought wealth to India. That was a Brahmin idea to loot tax payer’s resources with double identity under shady double taxation deals. Pallonji Mistry, Tata Sons’ largest shareholder, has become an Irish citizen while Steel tycoon Lakhmi Mittal lives in London.
So here I am, Hindutva idiots, Call me Chinese. Pakistani or Terrorist, You can target me or add in your ever increasing hit list.
Fortunately, unlike many of you, I don’t hold a dual citizenship. I am still an official citizen of India and I love the nature and its people, but not the social establishments like caste system, superstitions, corruption, etc.
Even my blog criticize Indian society or its dogmas, I am more or less like many other Indian. I love reading, food, sex and Traveling.
Like many netizens, I believe : “I have no country to fight for; my country is the earth, and I am a citizen of the world.”
The comments are welcome if they make sense. Comments for the sake of comments will be purged.

The Wonder That Was India: A Survey of the Culture of the Indian Sub-Continent before the Coming of the Muslims
Thank You Indian,
Marvellous,superb,wonderful.amazing,eye-opener finally INTELLECTUAL / REASONABLE,
no words to describe this website, the link i had been in search surfing the net for an answer to media propagated myth of INDIA SHINING / BOOMING !.
An honest view.An amazing revelation of the truth and myth of Indian society. The observation and analysis are sincere and unbiased.
The Wall Street Journal carried the story of an Indian-American who opened an engineering office in Bangladesh. Then he “closed” the office down and transferred the employees to California. He never offered the jobs to any Americans.
Another case of slave labor brought to us by India. They came here on the L Visa which is a trick whereby you set up a foreign office then shut it down and transfer the employees here under the auspices of bringing a company to the US. It is quite common.
Indian-Americans solely hire their own or hire people willing to be treated like dogs as they are desperate for money. It would be nice if they would integrate in society and show some concern for their fellow humanity.
The fact that Indian-Americans spend a disproportionate amount of time lobbying the government on behalf of jobs for Indians (H-1B Vias and outsourcing)
There are millions of untouchables in India suffering from caste system and brahmin rule.
Who will bring their tormentors to justice? Not the Indians for sure. The brahmins think its OK to treat humans so badly. Its their karma you see.
CyberGhandi, thank you so much for stopping by! I read a post by you a while ago but forgot to save your url and later, in the mix of things, forgot to google.
Till your comment. went searching and I’ve found it! I’m a bit new to the commenting thing but do allow me:
Love your passion, the header is absolutely priceless!
The book ‘Untouchable – a life history’ by James Freeman must be a classic by now, but I just discovered it a few weeks ago in Ladakh, of all places, sitting forgotten on an office bookshelf. It was the first ever personal (oral) history of a Dalit (in this case from Orissa) and provides an amazing look at the practices of the time (I think it was in the 60s). All kinds of things i never would have noticed on my own (like, why the guy is sitting outside the tea stall instead of inside).
Excellent blog! Thanks for exposing the true face of Hindu[fasc]ism and highlighting its impact on the minorities. As a victim of Hindu[fasc]ism I am particularly grateful.
For India to progress the caste system which is the pillar, nay the central tenet of the Hindu[fasc]ism has to be destroyed and the regressive swamp that Hindu[fasc]ism represents has to be drained.
All progressives need to come together to fight the Brahmin, Vaishya and Kshatriya castocracy that is India, this blog appears to be an excellent step in that direction.
The brahmins don’t even spare any caste even if they are rich and famous

Hi,
I must say I share your compassion. Being a journalist for almost a decade and working in villages and rural India, I have been (un)fortunate to experience the real India and its myriad problems. Though it is indeed considered deglamourised to talk about the backyard (or the backbone!!) of the nation in English newspapers (where I have spent over nine years in various parts of the country), this is a hypocrisy that we all need to combat if we LOVE the country.
I firmly believe that if one loves someone, its his/her foremost duty to alert and criticise the loved one. Because thats the only way one can ever be perfect, by being critical to one’s weaknesses and deeds, which have obviously not yielded any significant results.
Today, Indians are found in all parts of the globe, including almost every European country, East Africa is full of them, so is the US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Malaysia and Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.
Unfortunately, no other country perhaps has this kind of expat and non-resident population. But thak god, they are not in India, otherwise we would not have space to even stand in our cities. In the country we already have 1.26 billion and in the world, maybe 35-40 million at least more.
Lets get the true India out from the clutch of hypocrits and stop portraying euphoria. Lets, for a change, face the facts.
Your Blog is a class of its own; a peek at the Real India.
I have visited India twice. Majority of Indians one comes across in daily life are innocent good natured people. They keep their composure amidst abject poverty, extreme cruelty, extreme exploitation and a collapsed infrastructure. A 2 hour train ride from North Bombay to Vic Station is a glimpse at Real India.
The top 2% of the society perhaps own more than 50% of the resources. They are incredibly arrogant; their disdain for human values is legendary. Taj, Oberoi and the surrounds curcuit is the abode of absolute moral decay, vulgar display of wealth, abject consumerism. The rich people treat their drivers, servants like insects. They are even ashamed of their Indian roots, and try to copycat Americans, which is kinda funny.
Good man!
Thank you; I was amazed when learning as a child at the caste system in India. I cannot imagine waiting till the next life and maybe things will get better. Citizen of the world you can come visit us if you ever get to the unholist of cities, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Being an expat Indian, I agree with everything you have to say.
I do my bit for India in a small way by supporting an organization in Delhi, but I am glad your way of contributing is through the media, that raises awareness about the true face of India.

My fascination with man’s inhumanity to man, and the daily struggles of the poor have stayed with me since a child. I am a filmmaker who’s goal is to help give a voice to the silenced, and you are doing just that. I am so thankful that I came across this beautifully written website, especially right before I plan to visit some orphanages in India. Thank you kindly.
U have mentioned a lot of stuff that is wrong with India. How about writing about the few positive qualities it has.And if there are so many things that are wrong with the country, what part are you playing in improving them?
Mr or Mrs. Cool,
Thank you for the comment.
All such positive qualities and more are aired by Public Relations Department of India and Hindutva’s filthy “SHINING INDIA” campaign.
As a blogger I am committed to uphold my freedom and present the real statistics and stories from India.
Sir, If you are ashamed of your nudity as an Indian, please cover up your genitals.
I have NO words to describe your way of thinking….its really fantastic those lines,“I have no country to fight for; my country is the earth, and I am a citizen of the world.” it has impressed me a lot.infact after seeing your website only i have started my blog….!thank you for your inspiration.learnt a lot from your blog…!keep on updating with latest news….!
please do visit my blog at http://dalitsvoice.blogspot.com.suggest your opinion cyber gandhi.
1 small mistake you might want to rectify on the header of your blog :”Echoing an ordinary dream of 85 million poor people of India, who are ruled by 15 million……..”
Population of India as per 2007 census = 1129 million, not 100 million. Actual figure = 1,129,866,154
Though I don’t share u’r point of view, excellent analysis & style of writing.
India is trying to ape USA , which is a pity. Few people ( Ambanis, Mittals) have got rich on the back of poor indian – almost slave labour. But unlike American millionaires who give away their wealth to charity, Mr Mittal spent USD 50 million on his daughters wedding and Ambani is building a USD 1 billion home in Mumbai.
Instead of trying to ’superior’ by spending money on hedonistic pursuits, Indians should look at Scandinavian countries as a model for development.
Even Cuba has managed to have a literacy rate of nearly 100% and excellent free health care to all , by not following the american Capitalist model of development.
“Fortunately, unlike many of you, I don’t hold a dual citizenship. I am still an official citizen of India and I love the nature and its people, but not the social establishments like caste system, superstitions, corruption, etc.”
The social stigmas and structures you have listed are but a product of the people, however big or small the percentage of people who caused them might be.
It is paradoxical that you can so clearly all the fallacies in our society but conveniently choose not to see that they are but a true sign of the quality of Indians as human beings .
Misanthropy, some might call it, it’s just the way I see it.
India is poisoned by religion & people exploiting it in the name of Hindusim. When victims who are exploited cry out loud then they are murdered. When will india wake up. Slave Cult did initiated to educate people but they are being threatened& even hindu dharam ke thekedaars are threatening them
“Every year more than 1 million Indians are moving out of India. They are compelled to migrate due to economical, social or political reasons. “Escape from India” is a dream of many and it is a 2,500 year old saga to Indians.”
Of course they are not moving out of India because there are more than a billion overpopulation of people there, right? They are not moving out of there because the first, the last, and the only thing on their mind is to breed like rats, Right? And oh exactly what do these folks do once they get into a new country, someone else’s country. Well the first thing they do is they have more pups, their breeding speed is faster than some cockroaches. And at least some animals care what happens to their offsprings, but no such worries for the Indians apparently. This is the very thing that has destroyed the once great nation of India, and this is exactly what they do once they get out into someone else’s country and then they wonder “oh what is wrong, how come there are so many poor jobless idiots around?” Fix your breeding frenzy, reduce the population to less than a million in India, and then see if the poor, jobless people don’t just disappear all by themselves.
This is an interesting and informative blog but I have to mention that your repeated insistence that all problems facing the nation today stem from domination by upper-caste people is not only wrong, but also works against your overall objective of establishing a just and equal India.
I can understand that throughout the nation’s long and diverse history, the power held by the upper-caste has been used to repress and persecute the less fortunate. But holding one section of society responsible for all ills is an egregious mistake. Consider any major issue that confronts the nation, from corruption to child labor to ignoring North-East, I bet there are as many people from the lower caste-strata who are responsible for the dire situation as there are representatives from higher castes. Denying that or arguing otherwise and providing far-fetched reasoning to pin the blame ultimately on those at the top of the social hierarchy is inability to accept the facts. I mean, you cannot be serious when claiming that bribery and lack of professional integrity is restricted to (i)those at the summit of power structure (ii) Forward caste people. Corruption, we know is, endemic, ubiquitous and at multiple-levels.
I am aware this dosen’t count for broad percentages, but I personally know lots of well-heeled, young and educated individuals hailing from higher castes who believe just as strongly in the ideal of equality and ending discrimination.
This skewed understanding and outlook you represent in this regard is deeply flawed but more importantly it may be a contradictory and self-defeating one.
your theory about indians escaping out is true.
i am one of them.
Brave are those who stay there and fight against everything.
It takes courage to have this blog because you really love ur country. I just discovered ur website and will dive in deeper.
It is sad, looking back on history that the most amazing aspects of great cultures left to us were based on slavery and oppression. Nice people, living in nice tribes, long gone, have nothing to show for it except some pages in history books.
It hurts that still today; mostly women and children suffer from legal abuse. I come from Morocco and was always amazed at how most poor people aren’t compassionate towards each other and take pleasure from oppressing those less fortunate. What an evil human trait it is to want to dominate.
But we still love our countries and whish it the best.
The only way to fight darkness is with compassionate knowledge.
U don’t have to publish this…Good luck with everything
Nadia
You made my day. As an Indian who is not living there anymore, I can fully understand what you say. I havent lived in any other third world country but I know that living in India is a struggle if you dont have the right connections. You are exploited in every imaginable way. There are times when you pity yourself for taking all the crap from others. We will fight on one issue or other. It could be religion, language, caste, sub-caste and what not.
The comments by WSJohn are also very true. Indians rarely integrate into the society or show any sort of concern for fellow humanity. They are willing to make full use of the financial advantages provided by the western countries but they donot contribute in any way to the society. As far as they are concerned, paying the income tax should be good enough. Often I am embarrassed by the actions of my fellow Indians. Most Indians will do anything to save a few dollars. They will rarely think how their action affects the image of their country.
Good. Continue your India-bashing and something good will come out of it. First of all, many of your facts are wrong (the whole world can’t be wrong). Is the GoldmanSachs report, that says India will beat U.S.A. GDP by 2040, wrong? If China can do it, why not India? And there are indications that things are improving in India. Shouldn’t we have some hope and take part in it, instead of running away?
Hey Great Blog!
Keep enlighten the world about what is really happening in India.
Only understanding the root cause of problem will bring any solution.
Thank you for your effort.
Peace _/\_
How bout criticising the education system?
The main fee is from ‘donation’ or commissions given to the college authority for admission of dumb students…almost of all the admission are this way, this is the main reason why people here open colleges.
The scientific education is sill worst, it is basically mugging up, there absolutely NO institute in India which provide proper scientific education…and actually IIT is the worst…it actually consists of dumb students who mug up and pass.
As a result they qualify for ‘jobs’…which appears to be the main reason for education…not any sorta passion for the subject or things like that. So actually they know nothing, but cause they just score better, they displace the real people who know their subject…this dramatically impacts international employment, where people, though score less, but do know their subjects.
There’s absolutely no diversity among people in India…every stupid kid want to do ‘engineering’ in IIT…and the competitive exams compromises of mugging up…i.e. they don’t know the basics and start doing the higher end.
The above fact is actually actually an axiom, cause you wont find any usually or diverse jobs…that’s why there are absolutely no inventors here.
Indians are egoists…they just don’t care about other…that’s why there’s so much corruption, cause all they want is cash in their pockets, nothing else matters.
This is the first time I am blogging…heard of Blogs a lot but never was in them…Good Blog …Being an Indian I will always try out something to give my India something, Good blog, I am with you…If all Indian All over the world come back to India then we can Rule our Future(which is not in our hand now) So come back to India and change it
WoW, I have been debating with endless Hindu fanatics filled all over US universities and Hi-tech companies. These Bigots tear me down with their foolish and idiotic arguments, finally I just give up arguing with them, since its like wrestling with a pig in dirt, while you get dirty the Pig enjoys it. Me being a Patriotic Indian minus all those Rhetorical statements nad strictly Religious Hindu, God has given enough gray matter in me to think rationally and call out a spade by its name. Some how I stumbled on your blog and felt happy that there are some sane minds left and everything isn’t lost yet.
